It's an exciting and important milestone when your child goes to school for the first time.
Knowing what to expect and being able to support your child as they start their schooling journey will help your them embrace learning and settle in to new routines.

A full-time Kindergarten pilot will begin in 2026. Five schools have been selected to take part in the pilot, where children will be able to attend play-based Kindergarten 5 days a week. For more information, refer to Full-time Kindergarten pilot.
