The Minister's Innovation Challenge 2022

The Minister's Innovation Challenge 2022

The Minister’s Innovation Challenge 2022 will see 20 teams of Year 8 students from public schools across WA use design thinking to develop innovative solutions to local problems.

The challenge is aimed at ensuring our young people are better prepared to lead and innovate in our changing world and forms part of the Career Learning Toolkit developed to address the critical need for career learning for secondary school students.

The challenge will become the first step in an ongoing immersive journey of design thinking and innovation learning for WA public school students.

Each team’s final pitch will be showcased online through the The Minister’s Innovation Challenge 2022 exhibition, and the 3 top ranked teams will receive cash prizes totalling $6,000.
