She prides herself on her constant thirst for knowledge, work ethic, creative problem solving ability, flexible and agile out-of-the-box thinking, and high emotional intelligence.

Since becoming principal of Beeliar Primary School in 2016, Louise has led staff through a change management process and developed a shared moral purpose and distributed leadership team. Additionally, Louise achieved a score in the top tenth percentile for organisational health through McKinsey OHI Survey. As a network leader of Cockburn Central Education Network, Louise views herself as a systems leader with the potential to make a significant and ongoing contribution to education leadership in Western Australia.

For her change management project, Louise researched the topic of Sustainability in Education. The purpose of this project was to design and develop a Sustainability Framework that outlines the Department of Education’s position statement in regards to environmental sustainability. The Framework will guide future actions to ensure sustainable practices are planned for and embedded across the education system curriculum, operations and infrastructure.
