Comet Bay College
Jamie has worked 25 years in education, with more than 15 years in leadership roles.
During this time, he led the successful expansion of Comet Bay College from a middle school with 900 students, to a Year 7 to 12 senior high school with 1850 students and 185 staff.
As a network principal for four years and member of South Metropolitan Regional Office Executive Network Group, Jamie has a strong focus on innovation and providing high quality teaching and learning experiences for all students. In 2012, Jamie was a WA Secondary Principal of the Year finalist.
For his change project, Jamie reviewed the building condition assessment process gaining an insight into how to make it more user-friendly, purposeful and relevant to principals in schools.
