We’re building a new primary school in the growing suburb of Piara Waters to provide enrolment relief for the nearby Aspiri Primary School and Piara Waters Primary School.
Piara Waters West Primary School (planning name) will open in 2027.
The new school will open in 2027 and accommodate 540 students, with additional facilities for approximately 50 students in an education support program.
It will include:
- a double-storey building containing a library and staff room, as well as general, inclusive and specialist learning areas.
- an administration building
- an early childhood block for kindergarten and pre-primary students with a dedicated play space
- a covered assembly building with a music room and canteen
- hard courts, car parking, bike storage and landscaping
- dedicated facilities to support students with low-to-medium needs enrolled in an education support program, including classrooms, staff workspace, therapy rooms and sensory rooms.
The school oval will be developed in conjunction with the City of Armadale.
The design of the school was completed by TAG Architects. Construction started in August 2025 and is being managed by McCorkell Constructions,
