Building our schools

We are committed to planning, building, maintaining and improving public schools in Western Australia.

This work will provide the best learning environments to prepare young people to succeed.

These are the schools currently planned for opening throughout the state between now and Day 1, 2030.

Opening in 2027

Alkimos Sands Primary School

We’re building a new primary school in the expanding suburb of Alkimos to provide enrolment relief for the nearby Shorehaven Primary School and Alkimos Beach Primary School.

Boola Bidi Primary School

We’re constructing a primary school at Banksia Grove in response to the rapidly growing local community.

Boola Mia Primary School

We’re building a new primary school in the growing suburb of Piara Waters to provide enrolment relief for the nearby Aspiri Primary School and Piara Waters Primary School.

Opening in 2028

Eglinton North Primary School (planning name)

We’re implementing strategies to reduce carbon emissions during construction of our new primary school at Eglinton North.

Treeby East Primary School (planning name)

The construction of a new primary school in Treeby East will support families and benefit the growing local community.

Vasse West Primary School (planning name)

Students, teachers and families in the state's South West will benefit from the new primary school we’re constructing in Vasse.

Yanchep East Primary School (planning name)

The new primary school we're building at Yanchep East will support students in an Education Support Program.

Brabham Senior High School (planning name)

We’re building a new high school which will accommodate 1,000 students living in Brabham and Henley Brook.
