Reward and recognition

Corporate Information Services pair, Cassandra Regan and Carolyn Atkinson, have each claimed national honours at the Records and Information Management Professional Association (RIMPA) Awards.  

Ms Regan, senior records officer, was presented with the Julia Apps New Practitioner award.  

This award recognises the contributions made by individuals, new to the industry, for their workplace practices, or the RIMPA community.

Ms Regan has only been in the industry for 5 years. 

“It's a wonderful acknowledgement of my hard work and effort. I am proud that I have been able to give something back,” she said.  

Ms Atkinson, records manager, claimed the David Moldrich Outstanding Volunteer award.  

This award recognises individuals who volunteer and give back to the records management industry.  

“Being recognised as a finalist is motivating, inspiring, and fills me with a sense of pride and accomplishment,” she said.  

“It is recognition for my efforts and represents the culmination of hard work and commitment to assist RIMPA achieve its goals. It is also evidence of the personal growth, learning experiences, and flexibility I have developed along the way.”  

The RIMPA Awards celebrate significant members of the records and information management industry, who have had a prominent impact in this field.  

Each award is named in honour of significant members of the records and information management world.
