Reward and recognition

Excitement filled classrooms and school grounds this morning as students and staff celebrated the announcement of the finalists for the WA Education Awards 2026.

Schools across Western Australia were recognised, from Derby in the state’s north, to East Kalgoorlie in the Goldfields, and many locations in between.    

The WA Education Awards celebrate the efforts and achievements of individual public schools and teachers in Western Australia.  

They recognise those who go above and beyond in delivering positive outcomes for all students.  

Schools were named finalists in eight award categories.  

Winners will be announced at a presentation event on Monday 16 November. For more information, refer to WA Education Awards.
