In addition to support services available through us, we also encourage you and your family to access these services if you require urgent support.

For emergencies:

  • if your child is under 16 years old, go to Perth Children’s Hospital emergency department (open 24 hours)
  • young people aged 16 years and older, and adults, can go to any local hospital emergency department (open 24 hours).
  • people of any age in country areas can attend their local hospital emergency department (open 24 hours).

If you are assisting someone who does not speak English, first phone the Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS) on 13 14 50. They can connect you with the service of your choice and interpret for you.
