Manage your enrolment

Find out how to change, transfer or withdraw your child's enrolment.

You can withdraw or change your enrolment at any time before the enrolment closing date by logging into your WAIVS account. If you withdraw your child’s enrolment at this time, a full refund will be provided to you. The refund will return to the card that was used to pay for the lesson.  

Once enrolments close, we schedule lessons for enrolled students. We email your enrolment notification, lesson times and venue details approximately 2 weeks before the program starts. Save or print a copy of this notification for identification purposes on the first day of lessons.

Stage changes

Once enrolments close, you need to request a stage change by contacting our office at least 3 weeks prior to the program start date. We will do our best to accommodate your request.

After this period, you will need to make the change in person by attending either:

• your scheduled lesson on day one
• the venue on the advertised late enrolment day (where available).

Transfers

You may be able to transfer your child to another venue for the same program, subject to availability.  

To request a transfer, attend the preferred venue's advertised late enrolment day (where available).

If you want to request a transfer, be aware that:

• transfers are not guaranteed
• the VacSwim office cannot arrange transfers on your behalf
• transfers between programs (for example, January Program 1 to January Program 2) or future years (for example, 2026-27 to 2027-28) are not permitted
• enrolments cannot be transferred to another participant or family.

Request a refund

Before requesting a refund, read the VacSwim refund and transfer policy. This provides information about eligibility requirements, supporting documentation and assessment timeframes.

To request a refund, read the policy and then submit your request to vacswim@education.wa.edu.au. A separate form must be submitted for each child.
