You can use these resources to support your child's wellbeing and additional needs.

Health and wellbeing
  • School Entry Health Assessment - Home educated students can access a free health assessment through their local community health nursing service.
  • Better Health Program – The Better Health Program is designed for primary school aged children and their families to establish healthy eating and physical activity habits.
  • Kids Helpline – Access free and confidential counselling and mental health support for young people.
  • Medical and dental services – Home educated students can access school medical and dental services provided by the Department of Health.
  • School dental service – Home educated children may be eligible for free dental care through the School Dental Service.
  • Support services for children and young people – Find services, resources and helplines to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people.
