Byford North Primary School (planning name)

We’re constructing a new school in the growing suburb of Byford, with a dental therapy unit and facilities to support approximately 70 students in an Education Support Program to benefit the rapidly expanding local community.

The new school will open in 2029 and accommodate 540 students. It will include:

• a double-storey building incorporating administration, dental therapy unit, library, 7 early childhood classrooms with associated play space with 2 education support classrooms and 4 general learning areas on the first floor
• an Education Support Hub building for high needs students inclusive of a hydrotherapy pool
• a double-storey teaching block, with 9 general learning areas, 3 education support classrooms, and specialist teaching spaces for art and science
• a covered assembly building with music room and canteen
• parking, hardcourts and landscaping works
• a junior AFL football oval.
