Building our schools

We are committed to planning, building, maintaining and improving public schools in Western Australia.

This work will provide the best learning environments to prepare young people to succeed.

These are the schools currently planned for opening throughout the state between now and Term 1 2029.

Opening in 2027

Alkimos North East Primary School (planning name)

We’re building a new primary school in the expanding suburb of Alkimos to provide enrolment relief for the nearby Shorehaven Primary School and Alkimos Beach Primary School.

Banksia Grove West Primary School (planning name)

We’re constructing a primary school at Banksia Grove in response to the rapidly growing local community.

Opening in 2028

Vasse West Primary School (planning name)

Students, teachers and families in the state's South West will benefit from the new primary school we’re constructing in Vasse.
