Reward and recognition

There were cheers heard among classrooms and school grounds this morning as the finalists for the WA Education Awards 2025 were announced.

Thirty-two finalists were named, across eight categories, highlighting the transformative work happening in our schools.

Finalists are located as far north as Karratha, to Wiluna in the remote Goldfields, down to Esperance on the south-east coast.

The WA Education Awards celebrate the achievements of public schools and teachers in Western Australia.

They recognise those who go above and beyond to create inclusive, engaging and high-impact learning environments.

This year, there are eight award categories that recognise excellence in public education.

Winners will be announced at a presentation event on Monday 17 November. For more information, refer to WA Education Awards
