All appointments to RREAC are appointed or approved by the Minister for Education and endorsed by Cabinet.
RREAC is comprised of up to 20 Members. The composition of the Council may change depending on appointments made by the Minister.
The Council is comprised of:
- a Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson, who are current Members of Parliament
- representatives from community or consumer groups
- representatives from funder or provider groups.
The Minister determines the number of representatives from community or consumer and funder or provider groups.
A Council Member's continuing appointment is subject to holding a position with the group they represent.
