Each week, students who logged their reading achievements went in the draw to win a prize. The weekly prize included an experience, a fun day out, or a mystery technology prize.
There were 2 weekly prize draws which were divided into the following age categories:
- Kindergarten to Year 4
- Year 5 to Year 10.
The weekly prizes celebrate the student’s efforts in the challenge and provide encouragement to continue to improve their literacy skills as well as their enjoyment of reading.
Students who won the weekly draw received a prize. The 2023 prizes included:
- a zip-line experience from the Matagarup Bridge
- wireless headphones
- book packs
- a Perth Zoo family pass
- cinema vouchers
- a kindle
- a Caversham Wildlife Park family pass
- a mystery device.
