On the 23 October 2025 the Minister for Education, Hon Sabine Winton MLA announced the release of the review’s final report and government’s response.

Final report and government's response

The final report made a total of 15 recommendations. 

The government responded to each of the 15 recommendations of the final report.

The government is strengthening legislation and policy to ensure students with disability have access to inclusive, high-quality education. This is the first stage of a long-term disability reform agenda for Western Australian schools. The government will work closely and consult with students with disability, families, schools, advocacy groups and other agencies to support meaningful, lasting change.
