A free information session is being held for teachers, school leaders and graduates interested in applying for positions in remote public schools.

The information session will provide opportunities to:

  • hear from passionate presenters sharing their stories about their careers in remote schools and why they felt this was such a good career option for them
  • be provided with information about the Remote Teaching Service and Teacher Flying Squad and how to apply for 2018 appointments
  • hear about professional learning opportunities available to remote teachers, our graduate program and in-class coaching
  • talk to Department staff from Recruitment, Housing and Transport and the Aboriginal Teaching and Learning teams about your personal questions and the processes involved with re-locating out of the metropolitan area for short and long term positions at remote schools.
