Secondary school

All parents want the very best for their children – especially when it comes to their education. Which is why selecting a secondary school is such an important decision.

A world of opportunities

You want your children to have opportunities that extend and challenge them to achieve the highest possible standards and their personal best. You want teachers who inspire them and enrich their learning. You want the school environment to be welcoming and nurturing, and a place where friendships are made.

You also want them to develop the skills, understandings and values that make for happy and fulfilling lives, allowing them to contribute fully to society.

As your children progress through primary school, you begin to think about which secondary school you want them to attend. There are many things to consider including the type of learning environment and the range of programs offered; as well as your children’s interests, needs and aspirations.

Our secondary schools run from Years 7 to 12. These are compulsory years of schooling in Western Australia. Your children must be enrolled and attend school every day or be in an approved learning environment.
