Cathy’s relentless dedication, over many years working in mainstream and education support, has enabled students and their families to connect with their wider school community.
Her philosophy is centred around providing students and staff with multi-tiered levels of support to ensure student success at any level. Dedicated to the inclusion of all, Cathy ensures achievements are recognised through quality teaching, learning and assessment. Following a complete re-culture build of the school, she successfully led the implementation of evidence based positive behaviour practices to reduce restrictive practices for students with disabilities.
Cathy is passionate about developing safe and supportive learning environments, underpinned by positive support structures and explicit expectations for students and staff. In her change project, Cathy studied the identification and selection of effective leaders with key personal attributes.
