This policy details the procedures to be undertaken by a school in order to address the management of health care or medical matters during school hours.

The Employee Performance policy and procedures are directed at building a high performance, high care culture across the Department through a focus on improvement. These procedures apply to all Department site managers and to Department employees in public schools who have been nominated to take charge of a recreation and/or outdoor education activity.

Teachers and school psychologists have requirements and responsibilities in relation to maintaining professional registration with the respective regulatory bodies (Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia, Psychology Board of Australia) as a condition of their contract of employment.
