This framework provides information for employees in relation to their obligations and responsibilities with respect to privacy and responsible information sharing.

Information and communication technologies are provided by the Department to enable employees and authorised third parties to satisfactorily perform their duties. Teachers and school psychologists have requirements and responsibilities in relation to maintaining professional registration with the respective regulatory bodies (Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia, Psychology Board of Australia) as a condition of their contract of employment.

School facilities can be made available for community use. Applications must be approved by the principal and formalised by an agreement signed by the principal and a representative of the user group.
