This CEO Instruction mandates that, in line with Western Australian laws, all government schools and residential facilities must ensure students and staff are not permitted to wear, use, charge or store smart glasses on school premises, residential facilities, or at any school or college organised event or activity.

This policy requires principals and school staff, to undertake self assessment, planning and reporting processes. It incorporates school compliance reporting and requirements related to the Standards Review and the Expert Review Group.
