Department of Education projects and programs need to have appropriate monitoring and evaluation activity. Evaluations, reviews, pilots or trials are distinct from systematic ongoing monitoring and reporting and require special reporting activity. The Program Governance Group considers the Department’s activity in these areas on a regular basis.

The Public Interest Disclosure Act 2003 (the Act) aims to facilitate and encourage the disclosure of public interest information and to provide protection for those who make disclosures and for those about whom disclosures are made. These guidelines provide the process for making a disclosure.
