The Intellectual Property Pack contains guidelines and information to assist all employees to understand their role and responsibilities with respect to the Department's intellectual property.

The principal or college manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of a public school or residential facility, including providing for the safety and welfare of students, staff and visitors on the site.

All Department of Education employees must only use software products in accordance with the terms and conditions stipulated by the software license. Workplace managers must ensure that procedures are in place to manage record keeping, procurement, registration, installation, management, transfer and disposal of software licenses for those software products used within the workplace.
