Vaccination

Vaccination

The state government has mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations in place based on public health advice from Western Australia’s Chief Health Officer.

The COVID-19 vaccine is an important measure to keep Western Australians safe and healthy, and will help protect you, your family, your school and the community.

Get vaccinated

WA Health recommends that all Western Australians 5 years and over get the free COVID-19 vaccine. Resources from the Telethon Kids Institute and HealthyWA answer common questions about COVID-19, the vaccine and your child.

Find out where to get vaccinated and how to book at the Roll up for WA website.

Anyone who works or volunteers at a school more than once a week (or at more than one school) must be double dose vaccinated and have their third dose (booster) within one calendar month of becoming eligible, or have an exemption. Your vaccination status is recorded and stored securely.
