Education support incentive

The education support incentive is designed to attract and retain teachers and administrators at education support centres and schools.

The new incentive has been announced for the 2023 school year only to attract and retain quality teachers and school administrators at 59 education support schools and centres.

The one-off $5,000 payment will be offered to both new and existing teachers and school administrators who are teaching in eligible schools during 2023.

A percentage will be paid upon commencement (25 %) and the remainder (75 %) paid to those staff who remain at the education support centre or school until the end of the 2023 school year.
