The Department manages the Western Australian student data collection for the school census.
Twice a year, in February and August, all schools in Western Australia are requested to submit student data to the Department.
Guidelines for funding eligibility
The Department of Education provides advice and assistance to non-government schools in relation to:
- use of the Guidelines for Non-Government School Funding 2017 to determine student eligibility for funding
- completion of the Non-government schools Per Capita Funding Application (PCFA) for each school census.
